Iris Art privacy
Not legal advice.
- What we collect: the eye photo(s) you upload, your email, and your PayPal order details.
- Why: only to make and deliver your artwork. We never use your photos for identification, biometric matching, profiling or AI model training, and we never sell or share them, except that payment details go to PayPal to process your order. Rendering runs on our own computers with digital and AI image tools, not third-party AI services. No prints are made in this version, so no printer receives your photos.
- Consent: you confirm that you are the person shown or have their permission, and a parent or guardian’s permission for anyone under 18.
- Metadata: we strip all EXIF data, including GPS location, as soon as a photo is uploaded.
- How it’s made: Iris Art is based on your own phone photo. We enhance it with digital and AI image tools on our own computers. Where part of the iris is unclear or hidden by reflections, those parts are filled in, so the artwork is inspired by your iris, not an exact copy. A person checks every artwork before you get it.
- Deletion: your original photo is held briefly in our website’s database while our own studio computer renders your artwork, and is removed from the website as soon as the finished artwork is uploaded for review. Our studio computer keeps it only until your order is delivered or closed (so a free revision is possible), and never longer than 30 days. If we can’t use your photo, it’s deleted within 7 days. The watermarked preview is deleted once your artwork is delivered; the final artwork stays downloadable for 7 days after you approve your preview and is then deleted. Nothing is kept longer than 30 days. Unpaid uploads are deleted after 24 hours.
- Consumer health data: see our consumer health data notice.
- Ask us to delete it sooner: email porter@gislerlabs.com with your order number.
- Refunds: If your artwork doesn’t work or isn’t as described, email porter@gislerlabs.com within 30 days and we’ll make it right or refund you. If we can’t use your photo, you get a full refund.
- Where it’s stored: briefly in our website’s database (Cloudflare) until your artwork has been rendered, and on our own studio computer until your order is delivered or closed (30 days at most). No other storage service is used.
